Messolonghi’s Roe Product Protected Designation of Origin under RA 269858 / GG 3 / 7.1.1994 was registered as PDO. Messolonghi’s Roe, locally called as “Avgotaracho”, is the only PDO fishery product in Greece and produced by the fishing cooperative “Anagenisi”, which operates in the Klisova lagoon and is also available at avgotaraxo.gr.
